The compression riveters manufactured by Atlantic Air Tool Company develop forces that can be dangerous to the operator or surrounding personnel if misused.
You must always DISCONNECT THE AIR SUPPLY before changing the rivet set or dies. When shimming the tool to get the proper length squeeze to your fastener always DISCONNECT THE AIR SUPPLY before changing the shims.
Before performing any maintenance, repair or adjustments to the tool make sure the AIR SUPPLY IS DISCONNECTED.
Do not hand a tool to another person with the air supply still connected. DISCONNECT THE AIR SUPPLY.
ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES OR GOGGLES WHEN OPERATING THE TOOL, attempting any maintenance, repair or adjustment to the tool.
